From weddings to company dinners, Alex specializes in providing a rich and warm atmosphere with his solo piano music as the background. Being self-taught, his thoughtful playing style holds an eclectic mix of influences from classic jazz, R&B, church, and pop music. He is currently a regular pianist at the Canlis restaurant in Queen Anne on friday nights. His repertoire includes both jazz standards and renditions of pop songs. He also has experience working with singers and/or other musicians with a rehearsal or two under the belt.
